Hailing from Waddams Grove, Illinois, Sophie's unique blend of classic rock, honky-tonk country, and blues has crafted a songwriting style that's raw, honest, and lyrically captivating, and with a mesmerizing voice reminiscent of Grace Slick meets June Carter she's not just a singer/songwriter.
Since releasing her live E.P. "Indigo Child" in March 2022, featuring six original, single-take songs, Sophie has surged onto the regional music scene. Her tracks, recorded with minimal production, showcase her exceptional songwriting and vocal talents, hinting at the fuller sound to come.
"Venom," her first full production song, highlights the collaboration with talents like Mark Lavengood of Billy Strings & Lindsay Lou and Nashville's Lillie Mae, among others. Her latest single, "Coyote Queen," features an ensemble of Nashville musicians, setting the stage for her anticipated full-length album due out in 2025.
For this show, Sophie will accompanied by her beloved friends, Scott Clements on upright bass and Mike Clark on percussion.
